Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Overview

Yutoriverse builds products designed to feel calm, intentional, and respectful of attention. That philosophy applies to data as well. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information across our website, mobile apps, and related services.

Scope

This policy applies to information collected through the Yutoriverse website and products such as House of Ma and other apps we operate. It does not apply to third-party services, app stores, or external sites we link to, each of which has its own policies and practices.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to operate, secure, improve, and support our services. Depending on the product you use, that may include:

  • Account and profile information such as your name, email address, sign-in method, and basic account settings when you create or use an account.
  • User-provided content such as journal entries, check-ins, saved preferences, reflections, messages you send to in-app assistants, and other content you choose to create inside our apps.
  • Wellness and activity data such as mood or practice history, and optionally Apple Health or similar device data if you grant permission through your device settings.
  • Usage and device information such as app version, device type, operating system, language, timestamps, crash diagnostics, and product interaction events.
  • Support and contact information such as your name, email address, and message when you contact us through the website or by email.
  • Transaction information related to subscriptions or purchases, typically provided by Apple, Google, or other payment platforms rather than stored directly by us.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and personalize our services.
  • Authenticate accounts and keep services secure.
  • Generate app features you request, including AI-assisted features.
  • Understand product performance and improve reliability and usability.
  • Respond to support requests, feedback, and account questions.
  • Process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your journal or wellness data for third-party advertising.
  • We do not track you across unrelated apps or websites for ad targeting.
  • We do not share personal data beyond what is needed to run our services.

Service providers and integrations

We may use third-party service providers for infrastructure, authentication, analytics, email delivery, crash reporting, AI processing, subscription management, and customer support. We may also receive limited information from platform providers such as Apple and Google. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices.

Data sharing

We may share information only in limited circumstances:

  • With vendors and processors who help us operate the service.
  • With platform partners when required for subscriptions or account login.
  • When necessary to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

Data retention and security

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Request export of your information where technically feasible.
  • Withdraw certain permissions, such as device-level health data access.
  • Close your account or ask us to delete associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

You can also control some permissions directly from your device or app store settings, including notifications, Apple Health access, and subscription status.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will investigate.
